Assist doing pre-project reviews with our clients and engineering groups.
Assist picking and controlling contractors for quality and costing.
Skids & Packages: Mechanical, Instrumentation, Pre-wiring supervision QAQC, to cover code, specs, & approved drawings.
SAGD Facilities and/or Well Pads for any size project.
QMP electrical inspection, as Lyd-Von has an agency, so we can either manage or assist with our customer’s QMP inspections when we get a designation of powers from our Self Accredited customers.

Our Difference

We offer full support for our clients with experienced, honest, competent supervisors and inspectors. Our people all have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oilfield industry, in the electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical field, showing strength with pipe experience from 60” and down.

We will try to match our people, and their varied work experiences, to our customer’s project needs, as this can vary per project and customer.

Lyd-Von was invited and approved as an Accredited Business of the Better Business Bureau. Lyd-Von is also an approved member of the Comply Works (previously Canadian HSE Registry), Canadian ISNetworld, and Alberta Association of Safety Partnerships AASP (SECOR Health and Safety) groups, as well as competency based testing through our online website system which can also be viewed by our clients.

(Q) Can Lyd-Von provide a complete supervision, constructability, inspection service for their clients?
(A) Lyd-Von is willing to provide a complete service to their clients, in order to help them with their construction supervision and inspection service requirements.

(Q) What makes Lyd-Von different than their competitors?
(A) What makes us different is that we are willing to offer only competent, accountable people, who we will back for doing things "right the first time".
(A) Lyd-Von is adamant that we are not a hard hat provider group, and will not work to ever be that. We work to always know what is required of any of our supervisors or inspectors, so we can try to match the correct trades ticketed person to the task given. This is how Lyd-Von intends to build and show competence to our clients.

(Q) Does Lyd-Von have a process in place to deal with MOC?
(A) Lyd-Von always works with our client and their engineers with a proven MOC process, in order to avoid delays in schedule, or cost over runs due to no decisions or worse, wrong decisions.

(Q) Does Lyd-Von understand their clients pressures for cycle times?
(A) Lyd-Von is always very aware of our clients’ cycle times, as we work to assure completeness and to turn over our QAQC packages complete, correct, and signed off, within no longer than two weeks of completing our projects, and in most cases even quicker.
